American Airdate: January 21, 2006
Important Characters: Ed, Al, Hohenheim, Winry, Sciezka, Mara, Denny, Roy and his group.
Important Locations: Resembool
Synopsis: Ed and Al disappear suddenly from the town of Liore. Ed and Al, who has now become the Philosopher's Stone, head to their hometown, Resembool, to escape from the approaching military and Homunculi.
Dialogue Edit
Al originally gave the new speach before the opening played. FUNimation made it's second switch in the series by having Ed do the explanation, rather than Al.
Opening Edit
For whatever reason, Rewrite was shortened when it aired completely in the last episode.
Side Note
During the point where Hohenheim and Winry look at Sara Rockbell's grave, her tombstone shows the R in Rockbell capitalized. A scene later, the R is a short r. The next scene, the r becomes an R again. Whoops!
Ending Edit
And for some reason, I Will is lengthened slightly, but still shortened. What gives?
Thoughts
Unfortunately, I don't have the original on hand at the moment (I misplaced the DVD the episode was on). But I do recall pretty much everything else is intact and correct. Scott McNeil played quite the Hohenheim.
