American Airdate: November 19, 2005
Important Characters: Ed, Al, Winry, Rick, Leo, Elderly Exiled Ishbalite Man
Important Locations: Kishua

Synopsis: The Philosopher's Stone has been made in Ishbal before. On the camp grounds in the southern part frontier, Ed and Al come in contact with the Ishbalite who is convoying information and are taught the existence of an elderly person who knows the Philosopher's Stone secrets. Ed, Al, and Winry head for the town of Kishua in which the elderly person lives.

Dialogue Edit
Originally, Winry insults Ed by saying he lacks height. He gets annoyed and pops up and corrects her by saying he lacks ambition. The English dub avoids the reference to Ed's short stature.

Side Note
The exiled Ishbal man just doesn't sound as old or feeble in the English dub as he does in the original Japanese version. He sounds more like he's just tired and around his 30s.

Dialogue Addition
In the Next Episode preview, Al adds on "I wonder what the Colonel's up to?" Originally, Al simply says the title of the episode and nothing more. This is simply because the Elric Brothers have absolutely no role in the next episode and get little to no screen time at all. Plus the episode is basically three stories in one, although they all take place after each event.

Thoughts
Standard episode. Nothing too fancy. The dubbing wasn't bad either. I will say that I'm glad Gluttony's VA dropped the British accent and sounds so much better without it. Especially since he sounds nearly identical to the original seiyuu now. Other than that, nothing much to really report on.
