Opening Change
So let's see, you'd figure since this is a DVD, we'd get the right opening and full ending. Right? Wrong. The FMA2 DVD version of this episode and episode 28 both start off with Ready Steady Go as the opening like any episode on the [adult swim] airings. Why? The DVDs use the correct openings, so why not this one? Apparently they simply gave use what they'll be airing on [adult swim] once the next season premieres.
Side Note
What the hell? And I thought Vic sounded too old as Ed. The child that brings Izumi his toy train sounds like a teen around the age 17 or something in the English dub. Waaay too old for a kid that looks no older than 10.
Ending Shortened
Motherland is shortened like any [adult swim] airing of an FMA episode (or most anime on [as] to begin with). Pretty much the entire begining is cut out.
Thoughts
As far as I can see, this episode's uncut and uncensored. Aside from the kid sounding like a teen, the episode's pretty much perfect.
