Important Locations: 5th Laboratory
Synopsis: Ed and Al have discovered that clues to the Philosopher's Stone lead to Central's Fifth Laboratory. A lot of traps were set to a place that would be thought to be abandoned. Two dark figures attack Ed and Al. Condemned prisoners No.48 and No.66.
Side Note
Barry's reaction to Al being in a suit of armor was very dull in the English dub. He didn't seem suprised at all. More like he was finishing up his sentence regarding peoples' reactions to himself. In the original after his imitation of how Al should react, he flips out and repeats exactly what he said Al should be saying. It was rather humorous in the original.
Censored
Not really much of a graphical censor, but more of an evasion in dialogue. Barry the Chopper originally mentions that he's returned from the depths of Hell to have his revenge. However, the dub simply has him say he's returned from a pit of fire. Apparently they're dancing around the topics of Heaven and Hell, yet have no problem with Ed shouting "Hell" at certain moments that aren't in his favor.
Added Dialogue
Slicer's brother tends to speak after his brother, finishing his sentences in the dub. This was not like this in the original. In fact, Slicer himself did most of the talking of the two brothers.
Changed Dialogue
Ed never wanted to tell anything. He wanted to ask him something that's been bothering him for a long time. It has a much more powerful impact once we find out what it is that he wanted to ask Al.
Thoughts
Wow, lookit all the bloodshed in the dub. Suprisingly, little spurts of blood is okay, yet large amounts of it from the face is not. Rather odd. Anywho, the dub was handled nicely despite a few mistakes. Could have been better, but it's still good.
