Important Locations: Haidou Village

Synopsis: Former State Alchemist and doctor, Marcoh escaped from the military which was in a civil war with the city of Ishbal before. Ed and Al go to visit him after learning he was a researcher of the Philosopher's Stone, and came to Haidou Village. Ed wants Marcoh to show him the research material of Philosopher's Stone that he took with him when he fled from the military, but is soon confronted by two unwanted guests...

Thoughts
Here we learn of why Marcoh left the military and who the Cornello in charge of Lior really is. It also becomes aparrent to the viewers that there are now FOUR people Ed and Al are gonna have to look out for. Dub-wise, not badly handled except..

Added Accent
Not really much to complain about, but Gluttony's supposed to be speaking as if he were a child. Instead, he sounds like he's a British moron. :\

Side Note
Ready Steady Go originally started off on this episode in the Japanese dub. This'll be normal until episode 26 where UNDO should play.

Cut
Our first cut ever. Basque Gran's death was MUCH bloodier in the original. Here are screens of the death in the original.

Side Note
To the Other Side of the Door replaces Indelible Sin as the ending theme. This stays until episode 26.

Final Thoughts
All in all, this episode was nicely dubbed. Despite the rather bloody cut and Gluttony having the British voice, this was handled quite well. Especially script-wise.
