However, in order to refine the Philosopher's Stone from the red water, an impatient Magwar orders that the two imposters use a different method to do so. The two refuse and quickly find themselves within an underground prison...
Thoughts
Here's where we learn about the past of Russle and Fletcher's father and what the deal with the Red Water is. It concludes the lil' dillema between the boys as well.
Dub-wise, there's quite a few dialogue changes, though it's still good. Onward to the comparison.
Name Changes
Vercio's and Magwar's names are changed in the dub again to Belsio and Mugear.
Dialogue Change
Magwar's original knowledge of the Tringham brothers not being who they are was because he knew the Elric Brothers had gold eyes and blonde hair. The dub simply pointed out Ed's Auto-Mail arm. Quite wrong considering how Ed tends to conceal his Auto-Mail most of the time.
Dialogue Change
Russle originally said that Magwar told him that their father died of a sickness, rather than leaving alive. He was dead to begin with.
Dialogue Change
Vercio originally said that Elisa came over because a tree was withering and wanted to stay around until it died, not because she was worried about Ed and Al.
Dialogue Change
Ed never mentioned anything about killing the Tringham Brothers. He simply said he wanted to punish them for lying.
Final Thoughts
Plenty of unnecessary dialogue changes. Though other than that, the dub was handled quite well. Would also like to point out that when the original aired, a small note was made to be aware of the PS2 game that was to be released in a few days (which was FMA and the Broken Angel).
